(VOX) – At least 680 people have been infected with the Ebola virus in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It’s the second-largest Ebola outbreak in history, with 414 deaths so far, and the first Ebola outbreak in an active war zone, DRC’s eastern North Kivu and Ituri provinces. But it could get worse: Health officials this week are concerned that Ebola appears to be spreading in the direction of Goma, a major population center in DRC.

Or put Obama back in as president since he contained it last time.

Not hardly.

"The Obama administration's CDC handling of Ebola incident so badly been that the governors of New York and New Jersey had to step in and impose their own mandatory 21-day quarantine on health-care workers returning to their states from West Africa after treating Ebola patients.

Obama promised Americans that his administration was “taking the necessary precautions . . . so that someone with the virus doesn’t get on a plane for the United States.” And yet four days later, an Ebola-infected Liberian national flew to Dallas, where he later died in a Texas hospital.

Obama further assured Americans that “In the unlikely event that someone with Ebola does reach our shores, we’ve taken new measures so that we’re prepared here at home.” A few weeks later, two Dallas nurses contracted Ebola because, as a nurses union put it, there was “no advance preparedness on what to do with the patient, there was no protocol, there was no system.” A month later, an American doctor with Ebola was taking the subway and bowling in New York — all while following federal safety guidelines..."

President Obama’s Ebola problem
Here on planet reality, despite an Ebola pandemic in Western Africa, and in stark contrast to screaming conservatives who were freaking out over it, there was a grand total of just 11 cases in the U.S. 9 of which were from people who brought the disease with them from Africa, most of whom were medical professionals helping with the crisis there. Only 2 cases were contracted here, both of whom were nurses treating a patient with it and both of whom recovered. Of the 9 who brought it with them, only 2 died.

A remarkable record of containment and the polar opposite results predicted by the hypochondriac right.

Like I said, if you’re afraid of an Ebola outbreak here, Obama will protect you better than Trump’s wall.

Not a problem I'm sure President Trump already has top men working on the issue.

Top men.

Sure, trump has the best men, just like he has the best words.

Oh... wait.... most of them are under indictment.

You know you're well-connected when you have dirt on
people like Brennan and Mueller, which is exactly what the Clinton's have...dirt on everybody.
Or do they ? Maybe Trump has the dirt on them now.

Congo, one of the poorest nations on Earth, offered former President Bill Clinton a speaking fee of $650,000--a sum equal to annual per-capita income of 2,813 Congolese. Indeed, the International Monetary Fund ranks the Democratic Republic of the Congo dead last in its global income rankings. What did it expect in return for its investment ?
Why Did Congo Offer Clinton $650,000 For Two Pics And A Speech?

Dayum, you rightards are desperate. :lmao:

I've heard there's some kind of Ebola epidem in Central Africa. If what I've heard is true the United Nations should do something to fight that virus!

Really? He contained it? He was out there hosing people down, and quarantining people?

I'm always baffled by people who point to some guy in Washington, that did nothing, and claim "he fixed it".
Dayum, you rightards are truly fucking ignorant. <smh>

He did it with policy, not a hose.
