It is a lie that a carrier of Ebola remains non contagious before symptoms appear. Before symptoms do appear, the process of virulent proliferation is already taking place. Meaning the virus can still be transmitted during the latent/incubation period.

Actually, I think she knows a lot more about this than we do, she is a specialist, with a 2 year post graduate program on epidemiology and she knows what she faced in Africa and how careful she was when there, by not coming in contact with anyone with the disease, without being suited up, and we don't know how well she protected herself while there, and she is insensitive to the fact that we are ignorant on the topic...however, her motive and cause, are good....for ALL CITIZENS.... our government should NOT be able to hold captive these Doctors Without borders workers, when they come home, without science based facts, and giving them no rights to even defend themselves from these actions... like a court order to hold them in quarantine, giving SOUND SCIENTIFIC REASON, as to why they are being held captive....

If we let our gvt scare us in to letting them do this for ebola, we are opening the door for our gvt to be able to do this in ANY SITUATION AT ALL, in the future, IF WE DON'T DEMAND accountability of our government for arbitrarily taking our rights away....

She lives here in Maine and I wish I could say she came from here, but I think because she is a TEXAN, born and bread, (and a redhead), she's a bigger than life, small bundle of dynamite, (in a good way). She won't be bullied....

lapage could not quarantine her...and he did not have the cops stop her from her bike ride, and at least lapage went for a court order, though it was denied.... Kaci was not denied her rights to a hearing.... and lapage accepts the judge ruling.

I wonder......... why did Texas let her take a plane from there to new jersey with all of those people on the plane with her if she was ''so contagious''?
