Long term unemployment benifits is what is called welfare. I have no problem with calling a cat a cat, a dog a dog, and a person that doesn't want to work a person tgat doesn't want to work. Sorry you lost you $30/hr job, but is you want to work, find work, it may not be for the same amount, get over yourself and it.

Putting a time limit on unemployment should be done, putting a time limit on welfare should be done as well

A tax on cell phones? Are you talking on their manufacture? Sale? Phone plans? ... I'll be honest, this one sounds more like a regulation then a tax ... I'm against the fast majority of regulation

#1 Teachers, firefighters, Police dont need to make $20.00+ an hour with benefits, these are very basic education jobs that our desired not for money anyway, most of these jobs can be supplemented with an all volunteers force who will work for free. or min. wage.

#2 The Navy and Army??? Huge worthless expences! What are they for? to battle Hitler and Japan, those days are long gone, these branchs should be totally disbanded, just the upkeep for those ships is an insane amount of wasted money. (just selling a few aircraft carriers would bring some big bucks)Our missles silos, satllites and CC stations can defend our waters better anyway, The marines, airforce,coast guard and national guard would remain our national defence force.

#3 Sports stars making millions...what a joke, again alotta people would play for alot less,(just enough for a medium life style) and just for the fun of it and the fame, they would probably be better than the millionaire players anyway, they would be playing because they love the game.

#4 (Houseing problems) All house mortgages should be in paid in full by the federal government , then each propertys, property tax would be raised accordingly to recoup their money, the propertys value would be reflected by the taxes owed on it, ie. so a property that is free and clear would be worth more on the housing market, then one with higher taxes owed, but paid for by the government houses would be easier for applicants to get in to.

#5 (unemployment)Let the unemployment rise!!! cut uneployment to 3-6 months max, either work or fall to welfare...people will figure it out sooner or later that their gonna have to goto work probably for less money then they think their worth... or stay in their government housing waiting for their bare min welfare checks.

#6 Tax the hell outa cell phones...ive seen even bums on the corner talking on a cell phones..thats a way to get money outa everyone fast.

1) Wrongo. Educators are nation builders. They are our future. The should be paid enough to attract the brightest and best. Every country in the world understands this except for us.

2)75% in agreement. The other 25% of the military budget should stay in place

3)Who cares what sports people make? Government has nothing to do with it and government shouldnt have anything to do with it.

4)This would be the end of peacefull resolve of our economic conditions.

5)I think unemployment should be limited to 90 days and minimum wage should be abolished. Welfare should be limited to 90 days aswell. People need to learn to live within the means that they provide for themselves, not depending on government to support them. If people cannot take care of themselves and are trying to then that is a symptom of a larger problem, which can always be found to be government meddling in the market.

6) Tax cell phones. One of the most dumb idea's ever. Lets expand taxation because government cant stop spending.
