A solicitor accused of fraud after buying a multimillion-dollar mansion in Sydney's eastern suburbs allegedly misappropriated clients' trust money that was owed to charities and other beneficiaries of two wills.

Police have now confirmed Therese O'Brien, 62, the wife of suspended Edgecliff lawyer Mark Leo O'Brien, 63, has been charged with obtaining financial advantage by deception weeks after her husband was bailed on allegations of fraud totalling $10 million

I'll just loan my kids a million dollars that.........I don't have.

Happens all over. People need to be careful about putting attorneys in charge of their estates. One the family knew told dad "Its the best thing I ever did getting a law license. Its a license to steal".
