Dumber Than Quayle

Back when the LMSM was the only game in town, when they were brazen enough to use their monopoly to describe the asskicking US forces inflicted on the NVA at TET a victory for the enemy, Dan Quayle, Bush41's VP found himself in their cross-hairs.

No, he wasn't a Grand Kleagle of the KKK and he did not murder his pregnant girlfriend by leaving to suffocate to death in a car he drove off a bridge, he was somewhat Conservative and had the following occur:

This spawned an unrelenting barrage of LMSM stories, article and pop culture references to how dumb he was. Just picture the treatment Sarah Palin gets and imagine she actually did something worth covering.

Since then there have been many other dumb statements by politicians of both parties, so I want to throw it open to moments that make Quayle look like Einstein.
