New Florida law starts July 1 requires welfare recipients to undergo drug tests. They are allowed to fail only once before they are cut off.
The ACLU is already suing over this issue in another state.
I see this as mostly good by forcing addicts to stay clean if they want assistance. I mean why should we fund someone's drug habits with our dollars. Plus it just might get someone off a drug and encourage them to try to make a better life for themselves.
As far as I'm concerned welfare recipients should have to at least do volunteer work for their aid.

Thoughts?

You mean you don't think taxpayers should help buy illegal drugs for people? Man, you are mean and cold hearted!
