Well the problem there is, neither party wants to confront the reality of health care, because the public doesn't want to confront the reality of health care.

It's that simple. The people do not want to pay for health care. That's all there is to it. There is no 'fix' for socialism. There is no magic plan, that will provide health care to the public, without them paying, without breaking the budget.

So I have zero expectations the Republicans will have an alternative to ObamaCare, because there is no alternative that involves free care, without federal debt.

The solution is free-market capitalism. But that means you have to pay for what you get. And people don't want that. So all we can do is follow the left-wing plan to hell, and point out that it sucks.

There is no fix for socialism. Atlas Shrugged. You can't force a program to have the effects you want, by writing a law "this must work".

And that is why we will end up with universal health care, too. Because the GOP is STILL sitting with their thumbs up their asses while tards like you let them get away with it.

I got fed up with this awhile ago and started sourcing my chronic meds from mail order services. Basically I found that the prescription "discounts" that big box retailers offer (the usual $4 per month, $10 for 3 month supply) is still way more expensive than reputable online sources like GoodRX and SecureTabs, where you can get on drug plans that are 5-10x cheaper for generics than if you got them from the US (or Canada for that matter, which is like 70% cheaper than the US).
