What are the solutions to correct this run-away debt? Are there any solutions? And, could the answer be "debt forgiveness"?
 
I think what we will see is a major global currency crisis that once and for all shows how failed MMT is as an economic school of thought.
 
The ONLY reason the Federal Government is able to get away with its spendthrift practices is artificially low interest rates. And nobody really knows why we have rates so low when so much is being borrowed.

It is a puzzlement.

And if rates ever go up our country will be unable to pay its debts.
 
The national debt means nothing to most D's and Rs. Money really does grow on trees.
 
New standards in schools give students unlimited do-overs with their work until they get it right. Let's just give the whole world a do-over, wipe the debt clean, no one owes anyone anything. Maybe on the next go around we'll get it right.

Go idea, but I doubt that the crooks will changed their spots. Once a crook, always a crook. It's an addiction to them. Great idea though. Thanks.
