Good find---I'm looking foreward to hearing all the Russians telling Putin that he is the stupidest man on earth and that he better bring the troops home now or they will impeach him ! Let's see how their dissidents stand up to ours !

lol

They get uraniumed for that shizz!

Yup, smart guy.

If the outcome to people like me voting for him wasn't having another term of somebody like McCain, I'd vote for the guy.

If I thought he had a snowballs chance in hell I'd vote for the guy.

He don't ergo I won't.

Poor America.

Or

Even a poor marksman will eventually hit something if they fire into the air long enough

Don't dare concentrate on the innumerable gaffs 'Dr. No' has given us

The blind squirrel is amassing quite a collection of nuts ... but don't get me wrong ... it was obvious from the get go that he had no chance ... and even if by some miracle he were to end up in office he would be an atrocious POTUS ... wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too much of an ideologue ... conspiracy theorist, ect ... the system would chew him up and spit him out ... if not assassinate him ... but I do admire his ability to think things through quite clearly and translate that into intelligent foresight ... we need more leaders like Dr. Paul ... and less Republicrats.

Ron Paul was by far the best Republican candidate I've ever seen. While some of his stuff on the UN was crap (In my humblest of opinions), a lot of what he said was just brilliant. I mean, whatever, if he wants to get rid of income tax and social security, whatever. Your country, your policy. But in matters of foreign policy, I just couldn't believe my ears to what he was saying.

OH MY GOD.

Ron Paul said:
It's our- It's our policy of pre-emptive , deliberate invasions of foreign countries and occupying these countries that has jeopardized our safety, this blowback principle is what caused 9/11 and we have to come to realize it, if you keep to living in this dreamland of saying that they attacked us because we're free and prosperous believe me we're never going to get off this foreign policy.

OH MY GOD.

When Ron Paul starts talking about our failings in foreign policy, he sounds as much like a leftie as a Republican to me.

The intersect in views between the rightest and the leftist patriots in these times is rather obvious.

Point of fact is that they both see some of the failings of the current administration (and many past ones, too).

People with nuanced views just don't fit nicely into pigeon-holes that the media has carved out for them, do they?

That's exactly why the left-right thing is so senseless and should be eliminated. Is Ron Paul a crazy socialist now? Certainly not. There are tons of things that Libertarians and Anarchists overlap on, just like there's tons of overlaps between reactionary statist extremists everywhere, whether it be in the former Soviet Politburo or in the US Congress. Stalin might have touted he was a "socialist" all his life, but the second the War came along, what'd he do? He called it a Great Patriotic War, invoked the image of Peter the Great, etc. He got to power and totally forgot about international revolution. What was the first thing that most of these "left" military movements did when they got to power? Certainly not purge the "right"-wingers; it was the Anarchists, "Trotskyites", Social Democrats that got the gun first. Or what about, say, Reagan? Free Trade, Democracy, Diminished government are the slogans, but what happens? Well, once Japan becomes an aggressive competitor, free trade's out the window and protectionism shot through the roof. Democracy- perhaps demanded from Russia, but certainly not from Nicaragua, Chile, or South Africa. Diminished government? Debt goes out of control because of gigantic government spending. So where is right and where is left? Damned if I know which of all the rights and lefts we're talking about.

Note: Not comparing the two in any way, I'm just giving examples.
