that's all well and good. but i'd suggest that we first concern ourselves with getting a supreme court that will overturn Citizens United. There can't be any real reform until money is out of politics. Money can't get out of politics until they reform the electoral finance system. The electoral finance system can't be reformed because suddenly corporations are "people" who are unaccountable for what they fund or the amounts they saturate the system with.

I agree with you there. The problem is that we will not get money out of politics as long as that works.

It has been obvious to me for thirty years that the Dems + Reps are both corrupt. I stopped choosing between them a long time ago and have always voted for Independents or third party candidates. What will it take for the masses to realize they can vote the liars and thieves out of our government simply by voting for Independents?
