With all that central planning, it required a lot of people to "crunch" numbers. The plans were no good but definitely intricate

I'm light years away from being a known Mathematician.

It is a fact that the Russians are well known for their national mathematical skills.

Actually, there is ABSOLUTELY no comparison to the Russians regarding mathematical skills on our High School Level. Our High Schools are a joke. Reason: Blacks and Illegal Immigrants .....this doesn't have anything to do with racism. It's just a blatant fact. It's not an exaggeration to say that in most of our larger cities, there are areas where the High Schools are simply holding pens for juvenile delinquents.

However, on the POST Graduate and especially on the DOCTORAL levels, America imports so much talent that America is not only equal to most nations in the necessary esoteric skills but is probably superior even to Russia.

Lot of people don't know this, but the "I T I"....The Indian Technical Institute, is to my knowledge, the ABSOLUTE TOPS in Math and related studies. I worked with and knew quite a few of them who were associated with ITI. And, they are ABSOLUTE GENIUSES.....every friggin one of them, EVEN BEFORE ENTERING the Institute was a PRODIGY IN MATH. EVERYONE OF THEM IS A MOZART OF MATH....I KID YOU NOT !!!!

Very ego crippling. Actually, I am ashamed of even mentioning that I have a Masters in that field.

(at the rate this is going Papa Obama could quadruple the yearly Budget Deficit of 2008)
