Obama told the world that the republicans had no ideas for healthcare. The democratic party referred to them as the party of no ideas.

As we all knew, and later saw it proven, those were outright lies by the President himself andf the democratic party.

1. Evolution and ID nonsense
2. Tend to be very religious, no "reality there"
3. Deny global warming regardless of what hte science says
4. Want to ban stem cell research and abortion to protect a ball of cells and claiming its "a poor little defenseless child"
5. Tend to believe no government involvement and regulation, industry would act morally and responsible.. history shows otherwise

I agree. Many Republicans are just angry because they lost national elections in 2006 and 2008. Rather than admitting they screwed up and changing for the better, it's easier to make up crap about Obama. Obama, Pelosi and Reid are doing a bang-up job screwing up all on their own. I think that's pretty obvious too, but i prefer to fight fire with water. If you want to make a shallow minded person who can only flame people look even worse, then just try to get them to express some logical thought... that's when the real embarrassment happens. It either ends with something that makes no sense or with said person picking up their ball and going home.

Edit: actually there's a 3rd outcome; said person admitting they're an idiot (regarding a certain point), but that's pretty rare.

I don't know him personally, so I can't say if I like him or not. My liking someone personally does not depend on their political views.

But I DO know that I don't like his policies and rhetoric.

I don't like his use of the english language as a tool to say one thing but lead people to believe another...and then when he is approcahed with the contradiction, he reminds people of what he said..and clarifies it...making himself right everytime.

Republicans had to "clarify" things on a constant basis for W after he made a moronic or contradictory comment. There are pages and pages of bushisms all over the internet that republicans have tried to "clarify" and explain what he meant to say and those where comments that actually needed clarification. LOL

It is the role of a public speaker to ensure the listener understands exactly what he means when he speaks. Obama uses words to do the opposite.
One of Gibbs' most used lines is "that is not what he said...I have the transcript...look at the transcript"

The only real reason I can see in which obama has to "clarify" what he says is because dishonest people from the right side of the political spectrum constantly take things out of content and pretend that he said something he did not say. Could you provide some examples and links to support your argument??

Likewise, I do not appreciate his constant berating of American businesses and his implication that the wealthy are wealthy due to greed and dihonest business practices.

Some are greedy and dishonest and did get wealthy and some aren't and didn't. However, when referring to people who ran a company into the ground while costing people their jobs and millions in taxpayer dollars but are now collecting bonuses despite that should be berated.

Finally, his policies, like them or not, are class divisive. He claimed tpo be a uniter yet he is proving to be a divider.
