Bush wants the bi-partisan Congressional Darfur Accountability Act pulled from impending legislation to match with his new policy for Sudan and the genocide in Darfur (Sudan is now his "ally" in the WOT)

The White House wants to mask its lack of leadership on Darfur and its galling newfound support and appreciation of the genocidal jihadist regime in Sudan by muscling Congress out of leading on the genocide.

Pres. Bush promises to protect Americans from jihadists everywhere, yet tolerates a jihadist slaughter of innocent Africans in Darfur.

He's full of shit, and its high time somebody called him on it.

Don't let the White House make America look impotent in the face of jihadist genocide.

Don't let him waste tens of millions of your tax dollars to feed people who his "ally" is only going to rape and slaughter days later.

Don't let him betray the average American, who believes genocide is wrong and should not be disgracefully tolerated or worse, supported.

Don't let this coward and hypocrite masquerading as a great president abandon America's principles, security and honor by betraying the survivors of Darfur.

The Act did not make it out of the House committee reviewing the legislation it was attached to. (link forthcoming as soon as a website reports it)

Congratulations to those who killed it. :fu2:

That's too bad. There's no way Sudan should be let off the hook.

they are the political elite that are in need of a serious excuse
why they dont do shit about this genocide.

Just because others suck does not give them the excuse
    to do nothing.

What's so threatening about this legislation to Pres. Bush? Where does it ask America to do anything except lead?

Why did he personally lobby for it to be killed?
