Screw You!

Most Americans support a public option

Uhhhh...no...... they don't.

He knows that, that's why he didn't post a link to a poll showing this... He couldn't find one.... Unless it comes from some liberal blog...

That's one of the main differences between liberals and conservatives... Liberals use emotion to back up their points... Example... " We have to give everyone health care because it's just the right thing to do"... Whereas Conservatives say "Yes, it would be great to give everyone health care but it's not in the constitution that the government can take money from one group of people and give it to another group of people, so how would we pay for it"...

As long as were on the subject of emotions and paying for things...

1) Is FEAR an emotion?

2) Has any one of you right wing pea brains asked HOW we are going to pay for 2 wars (Three Trillion Dollar War) and the cost of rebuilding the infrastructure in Iraq? Or are you pea brain cowards too FEARFUL to question THAT spending???

And we must face the fact that the United States is neither omnipotent or omniscient - that we are only six percent of the world's population - that we cannot impose our will upon the other ninety-four percent of mankind - that we cannot right every wrong or reverse each adversity - and that therefore there cannot be an American solution to every world problem.”

PP. You people had your chance for eight years to do something constructive for this nation. You achieved nothing but unmitigated failure both at home and abroad. In fact, you damn near bankrupted this nation and the whole world. Your representatives acted with arrogance and incompetance in every sphere, and failed in all.

Why should we listen to any of you? Why should we consider your opinions revelent? What have you people ever done that has been positive for this nation?

Yes, we will have a Health Care Bill in the near future. It will get passed. It will not be all that it should be, but it can be improved in the future.

Yes, we will get action on the primary cause of Global Warming. Not enough, and not soon enough to prevent much of what is now inevitable, but enough to alleviate what could be an even worse future for our descendants.

Yes, we will pass an education bill that will stop the banks from skimming billions off of student loans.

Yes, We Can!

IF people knew WHAT the public option is the support would be much greater...

AND...I am SURE doctors know exactly what the pubic option is

I doubt the "support" would be much greater if most people knew what it is. To do that, I think a lot of people would have to also understand the potential outcomes of government-run health care. Cutting Medicare to expand Medicaid (which is what the Dems version of "health care reform" really boils down to) and raising taxes, and very likely on the middle class, would sink the Public Option in terms of public opinion. And that's only part of the story.

Look people...seriously now...there is no doubt we need healthcare reform but it should NOT include a public option as this is just another entitlement program, it should NOT fine people for not having insurance, it should NOT add to the national debt. and it shouldn't tax the middle class....but does contain tort reform/malpractice insurance reforms.

If those provisions were in the Bill, I would support it.
