43% SUPPORT A PUBLIC OPTION

they found that only 43 percent of the public were in favor of "creating a public health care plan administered by the federal government that would compete directly with private health insurance companies."

That's one of the main differences between liberals and conservatives... Liberals use emotion to back up their points... Example... " We have to give everyone health care because it's just the right thing to do"... Whereas Conservatives say "Yes, it would be great to give everyone health care but it's not in the constitution that the government can take money from one group of people and give it to another group of people, so how would we pay for it"...

What people fail to realize is that once a public option comes along, your company provided insurance will cease to exist... why would a company pay your health insurance cost when the government will do it for you? It's amazing people aren't smart enough to realize this...

The public option means that there is a policy that you can buy as an individual that is on the par with the insurance offered to large groups. Washington State has it already.
