The Clinton Foundation, or the Trump Foundation for that matter, are not campaign funds.

Trump has in fact solicited foreign money for his campaign:

Trump has investments in so many different countries that it would be no problem at all for a foreign nation to pay him for various, ahem, services.

What way would you be doing war in the Syria if you were the Commander in Chief?

    I am just curious.

You don't even know how to use a reply button. And clearly you know only the comic book version of Patton.

George Patton was a larger than life character who was a brilliant tank commander- but a very imperfect strategic commander. He was an anti-semite at a time when Americans were finding out about Hitler's final solution.

Patton was a real soldier though- the closest Trump got to 'war' was fighting his own personal Vietnam against STD's in the 1970's. Patton volunteered to fight- Trump purposely avoided going into the military and going to war.

Before you go comparing Trump to Patton- read up on Patton- warts and all.

Syria is a quagmire because of Obama. They never attacked us nor were they ever a threat. But suddenly progressives are for unnecessary wars, they have to pretend they care about some oppressed Muslims. Thing is all Muslims live oppressed lives because that's what they crave, subjugation to the will of Allah....in other words the government run by Islamists.

The policy for the Middle East should be to stay out of Muslim countries and let them handle their own affairs. Let them kill each other, that's what they are best at. If they also attack the US or allies, then bomb the hell out of them and don't apologize for it. If we go in, take the oil and keep it, instead of giving it away like Bush did.

Syria is a quagmire because of Obama. They never attacked us nor were they ever a threat.

President Obama didn't make the citizens of Syria revolt. The revolution happened- started off peacefully and then after the troops of Assad attacked the protesters it turned violent.

As far as Syria 'never attacking us or ever a threat'- Syria was- and is a sponsor of terrorism. Syria has sponsored anti-Israeli terrorists for decades- Syria was designated a state sponsor of terrorism in 1979.
Chapter 3 -- State Sponsors of Terrorism Overview
Cuba, Iran, and Syria, however, have not renounced terrorism or made efforts to act against Foreign Terrorist Organizations. Iran and Syria routinely provided safe haven, substantial resources, and guidance to terrorist organizations.

I understand- you think the United States shouldn't act against states who sponsor terrorism. This state however was both a threat to our ally, Israel, and was barrel bombing its own citizens. If we had not been involved, Syria might have had more time to help terrorists attack Western targets

Thing is all Muslims live oppressed lives because that's what they crave, subjugation to the will of Allah....in other words the government run by Islamists.

Yet we have example after example from the last 60 years of Muslims revolting against dictators.

If we go in, take the oil and keep it, instead of giving it away like Bush did

So you think the United States should just use our military power to steal oil- and then keep our troops in the Middle East guarding oil fields with big targets on their backs?

It's irrelevant if the Syrian people revolted against the Syrian government. What business is it of ours? None.

If we attacked Syria because they are a "state sponsor" of terrorism, then why didn't we attack Iran, as well as every other terror sponsor out there? Why not the actual terror group they sponsor? That's the lamest excuse I've heard yet.

Since Obama decided to fund the Sunni side of the rebellion, he is in fact fueling ISIS, since they are Sunni. The mess also created the Syrian refugee crisis, which has created an even bigger terror threat to the West. Only it is not the Shi'ite backed terror groups that you claim are a big threat to the West, but Sunni nutjobs, the ones we're "helping". It's also not just a "threat" of terrorism, there have been so many Sunni terror attacks in Europe and even in the states, it's now the new normal for attacks to happen on a monthly basis.

By all means, please provide examples of Muslims revolting against a dictator, and implementing some kind of real democracy that isn't as oppressive as any of the dictatorships.

I think the US military should stay out of Middle East affairs, unless we are attacked or there is a real threat. Then if we wage war, we don't do it half assed like a Bush and Obama. Destroy them, take their source of funding (oil), and forget any nation building shit or patrolling their streets like policemen. So no, they wouldn't have a target on them.

It's irrelevant if the Syrian people revolted against the Syrian government. What business is it of ours? None.

It is relevant when you blame Barack Obama for the mess in Syria. Syria had been labeled a state sponsor of terrorism for decades- and suddenly his own citizens were calling for his removal. Yes it made sense to encourage the removal of a dictator who was encouraging terrorism in the world.

If we attacked Syria because they are a "state sponsor" of terrorism, then why didn't we attack Iran, as well as every other terror sponsor out there? Why not the actual terror group they sponsor? That's the lamest excuse I've heard yet.

    We didn't attack Syria.

Since Obama decided to fund the Sunni side of the rebellion, he is in fact fueling ISIS, since they are Sunni.

President Obama decided to fund the opposition rebels- which included a myriad of groups- including Sunni's. Only an idiot would think that all Sunni's are ISIS.

The mess also created the Syrian refugee crisis, which has created an even bigger terror threat to the West. Only it is not the Shi'ite backed terror groups that you claim are a big threat to the West,

Sigh. The Syrian refugee crisis is very real- and yes that is what Civil war does. But President Obama didn't start the Syrian Civil War. But I do get what you are saying- if President Obama got out of the way and let the Assad regime murder all of the refugees they wouldn't be bothering you so much.

By all means, please provide examples of Muslims revolting against a dictator, and implementing some kind of real democracy that isn't as oppressive as any of the dictatorships.

Tunisia is the only country to emerge from the Arab revolutions of 2011 as a functioning democracy. Egypt, Libya, Yemen, Bahrain, and Syria have returned to dictatorship, descended into chaos, or both. But in Tunisia a democratically chosen assembly passed a progressive constitution in 2014, and three rounds of free and fair elections have taken place. S
