Is it any surprise that an administration headed by a man who worked closely with an organization that actively participated in voter fraud and offered assistance and support to people attempting to set up underage prostitution in federal housing, ACORN, would be trying like hell to block any legislation or attempts by state governments to strengthen the integrity of American elections?

Fresh off advising black pastors on how to campaign for Obama without violating federal or tax laws, Eric Holder's Dept. of Justice is now attempting to stop Florida from removing some thousands of non US citizens from the state's voter rolls.

Why would the Attorney General of the United States of America want ineligible and unlawful people to participate in the up coming presidential election? Why would he want absolutely no identification to vote? Because we all know requiring ID to vote is the exact same thing as Jim Crow laws

This is so transparent, and the same lemmings that for eight years insisted that Bush had stolen the election are now mute on this disgusting and blatant attempt to unlawfully influence the 2012 election.

The Republican National Committee will not be able to use election tactics that have been linked to suppression of voting by racial minorities without court supervision, a federal judge in New Jersey has ruled.

Not a surprise. They squalled like scalded cats about Bush but are now whining about how improving the integrity of the process will "disenfranchise" voters. It is pretty clear just which voters' rights they prefer to protect. Why no question about all the legitimate voters who are disenfranchised when the electoral process is subverted and cheapened by this continued drive to allow any and all comers vote?

James Lee's testimony

On 17 April 2001, James Lee testified, before the McKinney panel, that the state had given DBT the directive to add to the purge list people who matched at least 90% of a last name. DBT objected, knowing that this would produce a huge number of false positives (non-felons).[7]

Lee went on saying that the state then ordered DBT to shift to an even lower threshold of 80% match, allowing also names to be reversed (thus a person named Thomas Clarence could be taken to be the same as Clarence Thomas). Besides this, middle initials were skipped, Jr. and Sr. suffixes dropped, and some nicknames and aliases were added to puff up the list.

"DBT told state officials", testified Lee, "that the rules for creating the [purge] list would mean a significant number of people who were not deceased, not registered in more than one county, or not a felon, would be included on the list. DBT made suggestions to reduce the numbers of eligible voters included on the list". According to Lee, to this suggestion the state told the company, "Forget about it".

"The people who worked on this (for DBT) are very adamant... they told them what would happen", said Lee. "The state expected the county supervisors to be the failsafe." Lee said his company will never again get involved in cleansing voting rolls. "We are not confident any of the methods used today can guarantee legal voters will not be wrongfully denied the right to vote", Lee told a group of Atlanta-area black lawmakers in March 2001.[8]

WASHINGTON, April 11 — Five years after the Bush administration began a crackdown on voter fraud, the Justice Department has turned up virtually no evidence of any organized effort to skew federal elections, according to court records and interviews.




Although Republican activists have repeatedly said fraud is so widespread that it has corrupted the political process and, possibly, cost the party election victories, about 120 people have been charged and 86 convicted as of last year.

Most of those charged have been Democrats, voting records show. Many of those charged by the Justice Department appear to have mistakenly filled out registration forms or misunderstood eligibility rules, a review of court records and interviews with prosecutors and defense lawyers show.

Supervisors, however, have loudly questioned the accuracy of the list, with one GOP supervisor going on Twitter to show the picture of a U.S. passport of one voter found on the list. Earlier this week two Democratic members of Congress held a press conference with a World War II veteran whose citizenship had been questioned.

This is so intellectually dishonest. Every time voter ID laws are challenged they are upheld. The DOJ has lost every single case. Requiring ID to vote is not the same thing as Jim Crow laws.

How about Arizona's voter ID law? DOJ LOST, it is legal. There is absolutely zero justification for not requiring ID to vote.
