The Justice Department has concluded that the evidence underlying multiple warrants authorizing the surveillance of former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page failed to show Page was a foreign agent, as the law requires.

The department delivered its conclusion in a December letter to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC), the secretive federal body that approved the department’s four surveillance applications of the Trump aide.

A Justice Department assessment found that in at least two applications "there was insufficient predication to establish probable cause to believe that Page was acting as an agent of a foreign power," states a FISC court document quoting the department’s review.

How could it take so long for DOJ to finally reach a conclusion that was so obvious to so many people?

Even worse, this “finding” will result in absolutely no consequences for anyone or in the imposition of any meaningful safeguards to prevent something like this from happening again. The secret surveillance will continue unabated and uncontrolled.

Many of our once trusted federal agencies are corrupt beyond repair. In light of this information the case against Page should be thrown out and his conviction overturned.


....and I hope Page sues the evr-lovin' SHITE out of the DOJ, Loretta Lynch, Rod Rosenstein, Comey, McCabe, Mueller...and even Barak Obama - who clapper and the Deputy CIA Director claimed controlled / directed every move that was made!

After nearly losing everything in legal fees, personal / professional damage, etc..I hope Page bankrupts these M*er F*ers - takes their houses, takes their cars, destroys their current jobs and ability to get future jobs - like they did to him.

Add in the FACT that the FBI already KNEW Page was an INFORMANT ON RUSSIANS FOR THE STATE DEPARTMENT but WITHHELD THAT INFORMATION FROM THE FISA COURT when they stated in the FISA Warrant Request that they thought he might be a RUSSIAN SPY...

I think the OP has a few confusing issues:
Carter Page was never indicted. I think the article is saying that since the Page FISA warrant was illegal that any evidence and convictions that came from the "fruit of the poisoned tree" are not valid and should be overturned.

Flynn and many others should have their cases thrown out due to this... fruit of the poisonous tree with its roots in the FISA process..
