Silly perhaps, but silly can be a good marketing tool.

My FAVORITE small business marketing ploy was an walking ICE CREAM salesman who sold ince cream novelties to people on the beach in Atlantic City.

This huckster used to yell out:

Ice Cream, Ice scream! Get your chick a lick on a stick! Ice cream!"​

That kid made a small fortune selling ice cream novelties even though the competition on the beach was serious. He got so good at selling out his box of novelties, that he ended up hiring another kid just to devliver him more noveltries so he never had to leave the beach to resupply.
