Does the Democrat Party offend you...

...as much as it offends TruthMatters?

Discuss.

No.

And I'd wager that way more than half those who vote Democrat don't know that "Democrat Party" is not the correct name of the party.

The hypocracy of the Democrats offends me, naturally.

Actually the bourgeoisie (or every party) tends to make me a tad nuts.

That's probably because I see so many of their arrogant conceits and foibles in myself.

Only a fool is offended when offense is not intended. And Only a bigger fool is offended when offense is intended.

Democrat Party" is a political epithet used in the United States instead of "Democratic Party" when talking about the Democratic Party. The term has been principally used by conservative commentators and members of the Republican Party in party platforms, partisan speeches and press releases since the 1930s. The explicit goal is to dissociate the name of the rival party from the concept of democracy.

Democratic Party members and non-partisan individuals have objected to this modification. New Yorker commentator Hendrik Hertzberg wrote:

There’s no great mystery about the motives behind this deliberate misnaming. "Democrat Party" is a slur, or intended to be – a handy way to express contempt. Aesthetic judgments are subjective, of course, but "Democrat Party" is jarring verging on ugly. It fairly screams "rat."[1]

Can you imagine a group of people coming up with some partisan political epithet to cause a disruption among it's party members or to be insulting? How terrible

her point is that she HATES it when the Democrat Party is misrepresented...and that she has finally figured out how to look shit up on line using Wikipedia.

The Democratic Party itself probably doesn't bother me. What does bother me is that a third party of any kind never gains much ground. I think the Progressives/Libs/Socialists, etc. knew they could never win in a third party such as "American Progressive Party" or something similar, so they latched onto the Democratic Party since its thinking was closer than that of Republicans - albeit, there are some Republicans who lean a bit to the left.

The problem is that when the people vote Democratic they vote for crap that the Progressives are putting out, instead of voting Republican or anything else just to keep the Progressives out. I think there is a whole majority of Democrats who do not like the Progressive movement but they're going to vote Democratic because it's what they've always done. Unfortunately, that kind of thinking gives ALL Democrats a bad rap.

On top of her head.

The DEM party or DEMs as a whole do not offend me... it is the far-left, progressive, whack jobs that offend me... and the sheeple who blindly follow anything just because it is the party to which they belong, instead of looking at things logically
