Science helps create technology and technology provides tools for science.

Take the microscope, for example. Science has helped microscope designers create ever more powerful scopes. And those more powerful scopes provide advances for science.

And no, I do not think technology will solve all scientific questions.

Neither Technology or Science are finite. No reason to believe their are limits on either.

Science is understanding how things work. Technology is the application of that understanding.

For instance, give a bunch of scientists some silica sand, some rocks with rare earth elements in them, some oil, and, voila!, a cell phone. Give those same ingredients to our Senators and Congressmen, and the monkeys will finish Shakespeare before they create a cell phone. You have to have the understanding to create the technology.
