Does Obama even have a plan?

If he had a plan, there would be evidence in the budget he got passed. Oh, wait. There's no budget he got passed.

So are you just misinformed or did you purposefully leave out the whole republican obstructionism thing?

The president does not just magically implement budgets.. House and Senate are involved, whom just so happen to be majority R.

If Obama had a plan, why did he apply it in the first four years?

He is quit a mellow guy who had a senate that did all they could to stop anything Obama wanted, it was a major Repub plan and we are seeing the repercussions now just in time for the elections.
If Obama is wins we will see a different scenario for sure.

The Senate wouldn't take up the budget in 2010 because they saw the coming shellacking and new that it would be worse if they announced measures which would be needed in a fiscally responsible budget.

The Democrats were in control and they purposely hid that ball because they knew they would break more of their irresponsible campaign promises and lose more seats if they did the right thing.

What is Obama's plan to save Medicare? To save Social Security? To lower the debt?

If you don't know, then you have not been listening.
Cut out the waste, fraud and abuse that he has been doing.
Social is secure and workers pay into it, and it is solid until 2035, has a trillion dollar surplus. Let tax cuts for the rich expire and cut out waste in military. like thousands of contractors in Afghanistan and Iraq. Halliburton that charge $26 for a paper plate.

U.S. Social Security $2.6 Trillion Dollar Surplus

Social Security is far from bankrupt, with a $2.6 trillion dollar surplus. The federal government has borrowed most of that surplus to pay for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Wall Street bank bailouts, and the Bush-era tax cuts. The government is now wondering how to pay back the loan – it's not their money – it belongs to Social Security.

Huh? :eusa_eh:

Obama had heavy Democrat majorities for his first two years. There was even a brief spate of time when his majorities were bullet-proof, not a thing Republicans could've done to stop him from doing whatever he liked. Still... no budget, no plan to repair our broken entitlement system, no effort to get the debt under control. Instead, we got more and more reckless spending and a whole new broken entitlement.

Frankly, it just doesn't get any sweeter than what Obama had going for him those first two years in terms of passing legislation. And yet, he accomplished nothing but making our situation worse.

So, tell us, what IS his plan? So far, it looks like the only thing he's got in mind is uncoupling the Bush tax cuts in order to take in a measly 28 billion annually, and that, while we're spending nearly a half-trillion simply servicing the debt.

Those idiots couldn't even control the fraud and waste in their own so-called "stimulus" program.

With little notice, inspectors generals across federal agencies are piecing together criminal and civil cases into stimulus money that was misspent, wasted or defrauded.

The government’s chief spending watchdogs have already secured nearly 600 convictions and judgments against people and companies accused of misusing stimulus funds and have a whopping 1,900 investigations currently open into possible wrongdoing, officials say.

Poor Obama, he manged to get ObAMACARE shoved down our throats, but he's just been so obstructed.

Yes. He does. But it requires reading, something I know many of you are not fond of.

Shall I assume that no one has responded to this because you are too busy reading it?

I am in fact reading it. I am not optimistic that it addresses the OP. You did not give any specifics and I have grown too accustomed to people posting irrelevant links in answer to my questions about Obama's plans to save Medicare, save Social Security and lower the debt. However, I am reading it.
