Does Internet Porn Lower Male Desire?

I worked at a pizza parlor one time. When hired, the owner said to eat all the pizza you want, anytime you want. After about a week, I was sick of pizza. Same thing with internet porn. Seen one, you've seen them all.

i don't think that porn in and of itself lowers males' desire, but i do think it will fill men's heads with unrealistic and narrow minded desires for the standards of beauty that they seek in women as well as give false expectations as to what the sexual act should be. . . .which can indeed lead to disillusionment, disappointment, and as a result, decreased desire for sex. . . . .

I always thought guys used internet porn because the women didn't have sex? if the women were giving it up like they should internet porn wouldn't be needed.

I eat pizza 6 - 10 times a week, and I have for pretty much my entire life.

It's the Brooklyn in me.

I don't think this is true, any more than any other part of pop culture. Kids don't expect all their classmates to look like Britney Spears, why would they expect their partner to look like Jenna Jameson?

Serial killer Ted Bundy blamed porn for his decades long killing spree. Imagine what he would have been capable of if he had access to the internet.

Porn is Porn. Nothing more nothing less. I am sure it can cause all types of things, so can steroids, doesn't mean it does it to everyone. I wanted to do steroids for a long time, then I realized something. Natural is the best way, and guess what? Same thing I say for porn. (For those who do not understand, I am saying having sex with your wife is a better idea, and if she doesn't suck it up? Get a hobby.)

Honestly, I have noticed after weight lifting 6x a week, my sexual desire is down, so is my anger, depression, or any negative emotion. I am usually giddy as hell after a good day in the gym.

you wont expect them to look like the porn stars per se, much like kids don't expect to see the glistening glamorous teen stars they see on tv sitting behind them in homeroom, the harm is in the impressions you are constantly feeding your subconscious.

when you have to go from watching a five way lesbian orgy--accompanied by the particularly intense kind of orgasm than you get from masturbating--to regular old sex between 2 people, you may find that you like the more "self-sufficient" fantasy kind of sex better.

this is because while sex is pleasure, its also work, if u guys are any good in bed, you know what i mean. plus its supposed to be a spiritual thing as well as physical. of course thats unheard of in the west where wassail and debauchery flavor every single thing we do, but yeah. . . . .

Wow. Excellente response. You weren't born and raised in South Carolina, were ya ?

Ah yes the relationsip problem most people refuse to admit exists.

Love typically doesn't fade in long term relationships --in fact it often becomes stronger over time.

But for many of us time has a way of making lust fade in a relationship.

And many long term relationships cannot suvive that loss.

As to porn?

What our women do or do not do will never much effect the fact that men are designed by nature to like to LOOK at attractive women.

The myth that love and lust go hand in hand has been the death of many an otherwise good realationship.
