Because the planned parenthood story is an edit job, and honestly, how did people think researchers got their tissue? Did they think those conversations are about flowers and snowflakes?

Plus abortion is less than 3% of what Planned Parenthood does, and they are not profiting from this.

Lastly, abortion has pretty much been completely gone from public discourse for over a decade. It's only brought up when republicans need votes and try to trick the rubes into thinking they're going to do something to stop abortion. People just don't really care much.

People can care about more than one thing at a time. I was pissed to hear that a convicted poacher murdered a socialized lion (that had a family btw) and called it a "mistake". I was pissed when I first discovered that there's a massive and politically protected industry devoted to murdering my generation for a profit. Neither cancels out the other.

Lastly, abortion has pretty much been completely gone from public discourse for over a decade. It's only brought up when republicans need votes and try to trick the rubes into thinking they're going to do something to stop abortion. People just don't really care much.

Were you expecting something different? There are three sides to our media: the far right media (eg Fox and NewsMax), the mainstream/left media (eg CNN and PBS), and the far left media (eg MSNBC and the various blogs and comedy shows that fill in for serious news). Only the first is in any way sympathetic to us. The latter two are staunchly against us. This is going to be an uphill battle, just like the fights against fascism, sexism, and slavery of our forebears.
