Well let's see. He killed more high-ranking Taliban and Al Qaeda in 3 years, than Bush did in six. Inlcuding that guy that Bush said "isn't important". YOu know, that bin Laden guy? Yeah that one. So if by "helping" you mean "killing", then okay.
He showed us what an exit strategy looks like! That was nice. Full UN Support, no American casualties, in and OUT quickly. Didn't even bankrupt us in the process!
Oh, and domestically, he's caught over 25 terrorists groups in the planing stages of attacks - BEFORE they blew up American buildings and citizens - so he's better at connecting the dots than that other guy was.

You'll have to wait till after the election, when Obama has more "flexibility", to get that question answered.

    SNIP:

Though the economy remains the top issue in the presidential campaign, trouble on the foreign policy front could fray the advantage an incumbent president typically has in that area.

Mitt Romney, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, has certainly not hesitated in pointing to the latest developments as a sign that the country needs a course correction.

On Sunday, Romney seized on the massacre in the Syrian city of Houla to again challenge the president's policy toward the Assad regime.

"After nearly a year and a half of slaughter, it is far past time for the United States to begin to lead and put an end to the Assad regime," Romney said in a written statement. "President Obama can no longer ignore calls from congressional leaders in both parties to take more assertive steps."

    No they weren't.

Bush's foreign policy was to piss off the Chinese and Russians while the terrorists blew up NYC and the Pentagon.

Then..he used those attacks as a vehicle to go after the oil rich nation the PNAC wanted for their very own.

Now that Obama is President, Bin Laden is dead.

Obama considers America as the sole rogue colonial bull elephant in the world which desperately needs to have its legs cut out from underneath it.
The first clue was the tossing of the Churchill bust into the WhiteHouse garbage dumpster.
The gutting of the NASA mission of research and discovery
    The Russian reset
The elimination of the Southern Defense command
Making America subservient to Islamic demands
The removal of Qaddafi and Mubarak and the subsequent installation of Islamist Governments
The intentionally profligate spending eventually forcing severe defense budget cuts.
An America intentionally becoming weaker and poorer by the moment, militarily unable to resist any changes in worldwide military, political, and religious alliances.
Francoise Hollande of France won his election bid against Nikolas Sarkozy by promising the 500,000 person Turkish minority that France would become Turkey's first European colony. Without a Barack Hussein Obama as president, America would be faced with the propsect of making another amphibious landing on the Normandy Coast of France again, not to evict a Teutonic Dark Ages overspreading Europe but an Islamic Dark Age overspreading Europe. But an America under Barack Obama will just be another member of the worldwide Islamic Caliphate.
