Soccer is growing in the US. Professional soccer (MLS) already surpassed the NBA and NHL in average attendance. In the US soccer doesn't get the best athletes, but is still doing well enough. I don't/haven't watched any of the World Cup matches, but then I didn't watch any Stanley Cup games or NBA finals.

You bluster and boil about soccer and hockey but admit you are not a sports fan. Try ice hockey on a pond in competitive competition and when you win...no harm, no foul. No penalty box on a farm pond but the referee is elected by the players.

I never said I wasn’t a sports fan. I named 2 specific sports that do not interest me. I am a college football fanatic, a mild NFL fan, and a competitive shooting fan.
