...Racist!? Just wondering how many folks actually feel bothered, or offended; when someone calls them racist.

I find it offensive because the idiots that throw around that term loosely have absolutely no idea who I am in real life.

In my lifetime I have been called "fucking German" for more times than "racist". But racism towards Germans is political correct. If you complain, you are the racist. I remember my youth in the small town ghetto. Once, I was attacked by three ali teenagers in the public. Reason: I walked there. One of the filth ripped a fence post out and tried to beat my head with the rusty nail forwards. When I managed to take the fence post, a fucking German piece of shit got out of his house and accused me of attacking the kids. I told this filth to fuck off quickly. Yeah, stories like that can be heard from many Germans of this 15.000 residents ghetto.

It's not so much offensive as it is annoying because it is a typical liberal cop out, call names and then run away! It's like character assassination. Now no one will listen to you because you've been labelled.

I take a small measure of satisfaction from having this label bestowed upon me. For a number of reasons. One being that it shows me when another person is insecure in their beliefs, and values. Another, is that more often than not; the person who tosses such labels about is by their own definition. The same "racist" they would label others as; the only difference is they take a condescending approach of pity, rather than outright aversion.

Can't say that I feel satisfaction. I feel annoyed when someone says something like that to me because it's not true, and I know they wouldn't say it to my face.

Often times people call someone racist with the erroneous assumption that the recipient actually cares what they think. Its the epitome of self centered delusion. I waste no opportunity to educate them as to the truth, regarding the value I place on their opinion.

That is true, but there is also your reputation to think about. Now, some people might think you really are a racist just because of some weak dumbass in the internet!

Seriously though, if someone talked to me in real life the way they do online, I would probably kick their arses or at least I would want to. Lol!

Doesn't matter to people like that.

All they want to do is put you on the defensive so they can avoid an honest conversation about race.

They're taken a terribly important word and concept and turned it into a joke for political gain. That's the tragedy here.

It use to bother me . Mostly because Id never examined race issues within myself and around me.I put myself in many stupid arguments over it
...now at least when its thrown out there (or at me) it has absolutely no power to effect me.
