And now please explain how that stops crime or mass shootings...just saying those words means nothing....actually less than nothing..

Allow me.....

The oregon shooter...he passed several mandatory federal background checks, and if they had had registration of guns...he would have registered all 13 of his guns...then taken those registered guns and murdered those people....

so registration is stupid and doesn't stop mass murderers.

Criminal steals a gun....it is not registered to him but to the person he stole it from..thereby making registering that gun stupid and useless.

Criminal gets friend or relative to buy the gun since they have a clean record...they report the gun lost or stolen after selling it to the criminal or giving it to him......thereby making registration stupid and useless....

Criminal buys a gun from an illegl seller who either stole the gun, or bought the gun through a straw purchaser...thereby making registration stupid and useless.


However, when the democrats finally hit the mother load and get the political power to ban some or all guns, the registry will be what they use to make people comply.....

If all guns are registered less guns will end up on the black market.

We can't stop guys like the Oregon shooter true.

Please……..for the love of the God you don't believe in explain the mechanics of what you just said……….how does putting the numbers on the guns into a federal register keep them from being stolen? Or bought by someone who can legally buy them and then sells them or gives them to criminals and reports them stolen………

Don't act like all the guns that are used to commit crimes are ones that were stolen from homes. There's a whole industry dedicated to selling guns to people they know are going to sell them to criminals.

How do you stop it? You sue the gun shop for being responsible and you go after the guy who made the straw purchase and sold it to the murderer who shot 2 cops with the gun.

You don't just go after the guy who purchased the gun to sell to the minor, but that's a start. That guy should have been required to tell the cops who he flipped the gun to.

Sorry…..gun sellers who sell them illegally are the ex caption not the rule. And no…that verdict is wrong…..if the buyer filled out the paperwork, and passed the background check…….then it isn't the gun stores fault if they then go on to sell it to a criminal…..

You sue the people who didn't buy the gun illegally or used it to commit a crime…..

1800 of that gun companies guns ended up in criminals hands. DUH

Did the people who bought those guns pass mandated, federal background checks? Yes or no? If they did there is no legal bar to having to sell them those guns…..you guys made sure of that when you compel businesses to bow to making cakes for people they don't want to…….

Guns are a constitutional right…….if the person who fills out the paperwork passes the federal, mandated background check they cannot refuse the sale…right…? Since it is a civil right? Right? If they refused the sale, like the baker, then they could be sued for violating the civil rights of the guyer…right?

They might. If they feel the need to defend themselves they will…and as long as they don't use those guns for crime there isn't a problem.
