Do you listen to Alex Jones?

I don't get him at a decent hour from few times I've heard him he may go off deep end a bit but that's exactly who every single democrap in Congress is - his opposite. They sound exactly like Jones but from a Marxist position and they're governing at least Jones isn't in charge of anything. He's probably right about Obamas birthplace that's only logical considering.g Obama hiding his whole life pfffft smh

Why or why not?

no one should listen to alex jones... he's a nutbar and a conspiracy theorist.

"conspiracy theorist" is just a lable someone uses to delegitimize an aurgument or a person.

People do conspire and and some government conspiracies are true. If people who believe false conspiracies are "nutbars" then what are the people who believed Gulf of Tonkin,Bay of Pigs,Agent Orange,Operation Ajax,Tuskegee study and CIA spreds drugs to war protesters were false?

Let's repeat this golden nugget one more time.:clap2:

It's not just what others say that puts him in that category, but what he, himself, says. What else would you call someone who labels TSA equipment as "porno scanners", but a Class A nutjob?

Isn't playboy called porn?

oh the full body scanners that the TSA uses too see the nude bodies of people.

Now that you're up to speed, how are they porno scanners? That's just red meat for the wingnuts. A category you also seem to fall into. :cuckoo:

Playboy is porn

Giving us an example of a non sequitur, are you? What does Playboy have to do with TSA scanners? The images are supposed to be confidential, but rightwing nutjobs keep violating peoples' privacy by leaking images.

I've listened to some of his interviews on YouTube. True, they're often compelling in content, but he nearly always gives his guests too much free reign and they often lose track of what they were talking about and veer-off on too many tangents, which means the layman will often lose interest. If he and his guests could stay on track I reckon his ratings would increase a hundred fold and break out from the fringes into the established mainstream.

Been listening for about 2 years now.

Alex has one of the best researched news and investigative shows on the air. No Hollywood gossip disguised as news either.

If you just watch Fox, CNN, MSNBC et all, then you're missing about 90% of the news.

Alex has one of the highest rated shows exactly because he does those in depth interviews that you seem to get bored with. TMZ is more your speed I think.

If Alex was granted an interview with Barack Obama I GUARANTEE you he wouldn't ask stoopid sh*t like:

"What's it like to be the first Black President?"

Some people are very cynical of the government.

Deflection are we?

playboy uses a camera to view the naked body just as the scanners do.
What's the difference?

Just because I don't indulge every conspiracy theory within my grasp, that doesn't mean I don't believe in some of them. So that's enough of your tacit insults, young man.

Jones is a self-accomplished interviewer who scares the mainstream media because he confronts uncomfortable subjects mainstream journalists would love to explore, but are prevented from doing so for fear of alienating their timid readers or concerned clients in advertising. But his interviews often veer off on tangents, which can - not always - cause me to abandon them. Overall, I respect his bravery. He delves into sensitive subjects most would like buried, and he's accused of being a "nutbar" because his detractors would rather he didn't scratch too hard at the surface and others not take him seriously, so as to protect their controversial - and often neferious - interests.
