This thread was NOT meant to "sway" the opinion of most right wing morons who voted for the charlatan, Trump.....these folks are too far gone with either their abject stupidity or rabid hatred of democrats..... the thread was meant to at least raise some doubts in the minds of sane republicans that they may have indeed been scammed by a self-centered. narcissistic demagogue.
Only for so far as congress is willing to play along. If congress has the will, they'll find a way to screw him. Thus I think Trump will play sort of nice.

No, Trump is stating a fact. The president is not covered under federal conflict of interest laws. The office of president is excluded in the law. Further, we have never had a president with such far reaching financial assets.
In other words, screw all those ethics and let Trump do whatever he could possibly want to increase his fortune.....after all, the sheep who voted for him are ripe for the slaughter.
