Absolutely no. They were simply overtaken by events and were too sclerotic to do anything. The calling of a news reporter "Nazi, get out of here Nazi..." by some Dems ought to provide us with enough information to know better than to believe they are guided by the noblest of intentions.

I admire your charitable approach, but this is the state of Barney Frank, and his philosophy seems to be that the ends justify the means. But you are right: I can't really know for sure, and this time the results were too pronounced to question, which is the best of situations.

Ah well. Once again the dems have proven they can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I think the American people, especially us independants in MA, have proven that you cant ram laws down our throats that we dont want without a serious backlash.

if history is any indicator he will be an independant voice in the senate. His voting record shows he votes on his own, sometimes with dems and sometimes with reps but always the same way on the issues.

His stances dont change just the party's stances that surround him.
