winning or losing.
your thoughts please
there is most certainly a war on terrorism. Some may think there isn't one maybe because you doesn't resemble traditional warfare. It also doesn't help that why got a little sid tracked on Iraq, which wasn't that prudent.
Winning or losing? I'm not sure how you determine that. How many more are being added to their ranks I guess would be the question.
There is no such thing as a War on Terror. One cannot wage war on a tactic. What there is... is Bush's war of choice in Iraq that's squandered thousands of lives and trillions of our dollars.
Wanna fight terror? Talk to the Israelis. Strikes should be targeted at specific targets (not countries) and plots unrooted by use of law enforcement mechanisms.
Oh yeah...and use global relationships so that information on terror cells is freely exchanged.
Wouldn't work. Way too simplistic and unrealistic.
You can wage war on people, in this case terrorists. And why exactley can't you wage war on a tactic?
if anything we are being far too nice about this. 1) in hindsight, which is always 20/20 we should have maybe waited a bit longer and made sure Saddam was really gonna be a problem, thought that was only a question of when. 2) while waiting we should have been considerably more relentless on al queada.
Why don't you think we're doing that now?
which is it?
