Do the 1% really create the most jobs in America?

Jobs were created by the:
The Recovery Act

of course thats 100% impossible. those were make work or bubble jobs that disappeared when the programs ended thus postponing the recovery and turning it into the worst recovery since liberal's Great Depression.

Liberals are stupid so used the stimulus bubble to counteract the housing bubble but both burst causing or slowing down the recovery.

****Here's what Henry Morgenthau, FDR's Secretary of the Treasury (the man who desperately needed the New Deal to succeed as much as Roosevelt) said about the New Deal stimulus: "We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we ever have spent before and it does not work... We have never made good on our promises...I say after eight years of this administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started... And an enormous debt to boot!"

"The New Republic"( at the time a FDR greatest supporter") noted. In June 1939, the federal public works programs still supported almost 19 million people, nearly 15% of the population" [page 313]

In fact in 1939, unemployment was at 17%, and there were 11 million additional in stimulus make work welfare jobs. Today when the population is 2.5 times greater we have only 8 million unemployed. Conclusion: legislation to make Democrats illegal
is urgently needed

I stopped reading after seeing that your first paragraph was a lie.

Only stupid people, 100% stupid people, continue to lie to others who were alive and aware during the run up to the Great Recession.

Employment levels is determined by a large list of things but the single most important factor has always been and will always be demand. A "job creator" is generally just someone who has found a way to meet a demand.

Demand comes from people who have jobs. So what you have said is that jobs create jobs. So we take another spin on the left-wing wheel of circular logic.

What were they "aware" of, the address of the closest speakeasy?

The enemy of Socialism will always be wealthy individuals. The 1% may or may not create the most jobs, that is irrelevant. Do you really want an America where everyone works for the government? The 1% do create a large percentage of US jobs and their discretionary spending keeps others working. Most of them got there by hard work, save a few that made it by marrying into money or $200K speaking gigs.

The BLS report posted in a link in the OP states that 84% of the jobs in 2014 America were private sector jobs.

I suggest you read the link in the OP, your supposition that the 1% "do create a large percentage of US jobs" is therein refuted. As the discretionary spending by the employed keep restaurants open and people employed as servers, food preps, and cashiers, also documented in the posted link.

I can't speak for most of the 1% but within the top 10 US billionaires are the Brother's Koch, who got started by an inheritance from their daddy, as did all of the Walton kids.

of course that's liberal and 100% stupid. Demand is natural like the air we breath. People demanded lots food clothing and shelter 5000 years ago quite naturally from the second they were born. It was not until Republican supply siders invented new stuff that human kind began to move forward.

See why we are positive that liberalism is based in pure ignorance??
lol

translation: one again as a typical low IQ liberal I can't answer.

I'll respond. The 1% were still around as the economy began to tank, and when the economy began to tank, small businesses failed, soon store fronts on Main St. were empty and retail employees were laid off.

Where was that magic to create jobs then? Jobs were created by the:

The Recovery Act

Of course liars and right wingers (but I repeat myself) claim the recovery act was and remains a failure. The stupid one actually believe this meme too.

The stores are still shuttered, its the worst "recovery" ever

We hear this meme all the time, raise taxes on the rich and poof, job creation disappears. Is it true?

Let's look at some facts, and then decide:

http://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/ocwage.pdf

"The occupations with the largest employment in May 2014 were retail salespersons and cashiers, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. These two occupations combined made up nearly 6 percent of total U.S. employment, with employment levels of 4.6 million and 3.4 million, respectively. Of the 10 largest occupations, only registered nurses, with an annual mean wage of $69,790, had an average wage above the U.S. all-occupations mean of $47,230. The highest paying occupations overall included several physician and dentist occupations, chief executives, nurse anesthetists, and petroleum engineers. National employment and wage information for all occupations is shown in table 1."

For those interested in facts, look over the link above. As the Myth Busters say this meme is busted!
Everyone knows jobs are created by the homeless refugees from the '60's that live by the major interstate exits, holding signs saying "HOMELESS, WOULD WORK, BUT DUDE, MY BACK IS OUT"!!!

Another lie, though I suspect small town America with a Wall-Mart still have abandoned store fronts on Main St. but that has zero to do with the Great Bush Recession.

A substantive post which CrusaderFrank might have posted is to ask why there are so many Millionaires serving in Congress.

Congress should be part time work, no staff and unless they're going to declare war, they meet once a month. We have more than enough laws to last 10 lifetimes

We need a computer review of every law on the books, anything redundant or obsolete should be flagged for review by Congress.

Actually the economy does act like a circle. Job creators, jobs, and consumption are just points on the circle. Circular logic is something completely different.

Want to try again?

Walmart generates a ton of traffic, the key is to not compete directly against them

The 1% and Job Creators are often different groups. Conrad Hilton Sr. created lots of jobs and great value to the economy. His granddaughter Paris is a piece of shit - they are both in the 1%. I employ 200 people but I'm not in the 1%, Kim Kardashian is 1% but she's a whore.

History is full of supply side entrepreneurs, those who built a product before there was a market. 99% of them quickly went out of business by running out of cash. The 1% (or less) who do make it lure other fools forward.

What every wannabe entrepreneur doesn't know is that entrepreneurism is about risk management. Not about products or supply or heroism or job creation. It's taking your initial working capital and not spending it all. That's it. If you do spend it all you either shut your doors or start liquidating equity to stay alive.

The money they inherited from their father comprises about 0.1% of their current net worth, so that theory doesn't hold water. Most people who inherit money piss it all away. The grand children of Cornelius Vanderbilt, at one time the richest man in the world, were all bankrupt by the time they died.
