Trump is asking for $5.7 billion for border barrier funding out of the $4.4 trillion federal budget. To put that in understandable terms, that is like asking for $57 out of $44,000. It is a drop in the bucket, and it is not even as much as the barrier funding that every Democrat voted for in 2013.

You must be totally off your rocker. You are expecting liberals to understand economics that do not include give me something for free? You are asking them to follow a logical thought process? You are trying to explain in real world what the DNC has not authorized them to think about? Are you daft man? Stop this craziness!

They will approve millions to study why monkeys throw poop and building dog parks, but how dare we do something to protect Americans.

They budget $4.4T? Yet take in $3.6T? They continue to party and travel like Muslim kings accomplishing very little. Like Pelosi boondoggle trip with family. She is only one of millions wasting Tax dollars.

Aug 14, 2018 · The U.S. government estimates it will receive $3.422 trillion in revenue. That creates a $985 billion deficit for October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019. Spending is in three categories: Mandatory, which is at $2.739 trillion; Discretionary at $1.305 trillion; and Interest on the National Debt, $363 billion.

Trump could say he was paying for it 100 percent out of his own funds and Pelosi and Schumer would still be fighting it with the same piss and vinegar. It’s not the cost. It’s not even the argument that it is ineffective. These are smoke screens to hide that they really don’t want to enforce border security and, ultimately, legal immigration.

I don't care if it's a cup of coffee & a donut......the man is not asking....he is demanding

That's the dif bewtixt a politician , and a tryant

It's never been about the money. They will do anything to derail the president.

Totally immaterial but I have noticed something interesting:

"Wall" is rapidly morphing into "barrier".

Why is that?

Because Pelosi says a wall is immoral. Have to make sure we don't hurt liberal feelings. Must be politically correct even at the sacrifice of truth.

asking didn't work.

Exactly. We said no.
Have a question that liberals seem to be unable to answer cans you?
First a few background points.
We heard liberals say minimum wage is not a living wage.
We hear automation is replacing minimum wage jobs.
Now here is the question. How do you have xplain to a McDonalds worker who lost their job why it is a good thing to have more people looking for the jobs that they are looking for and even people who are willing to do those jobs for less and maybe even under the table?

I think Trump is wise to treat Border Security with the same way Obama treated Healthcare reform. Obama held to it to the point of a Government shutdown. If you want to call Trump a tyrant, you simply see whose path he’s following.

But you were promised a "big, beautiful wall".

And why are we fighting about it anyway?

Mexico was gonna pay for it.

What a childish argument.

So, from now on, any demand should be allowed if it is a small enough percentage of the total budget?

If that were true, the budget deficit would completely explode as every politician would add some 'small' amount to please his voting district.

'Hey, you should add ____________ to the budget because it is so small.'

Oh, that's fucking brilliant.

You add things to the budget (which BTW, is massively in deficit already for 2019) because the country must have them...not because it is a small percentage of the total budget...DUH.

Trumpbots...amateurs.
