The same Memorial Day weekend when nine mostly young people were murdered in Baltimore, demonstrators were out in force — not to protest the violence, of course, but the state of Maryland funding a youth jail in a city that rather desperately needs a youth jail.

Black lives most certainly matter IF they ended by the action of a member or members of a police force, preferably white cops but no longer a prerequisite.

The thousands of other blacks killed by blacks each year don't mean shit to anyone in the black community based on the lack of protests, rioting, burning, looting, etc.
