DNC calls for congressional investigation of how Russia hacked the Oscar award for Best Picture

In an interview given to avid fans in the press, new DNC chairman Thomas Perez declared that it couldn't have been any liberals' faults that Warren Beatty wound up with the wrong envelope when he and Dunaway went up to announce the recipient of the Best Picture award. Perez quickly concluded that Russia must have had something to do with the embarrassing faux pas at the Academy Awards ceremony last night. Perez also played down why Beatty was also unable to go off script and question why he was holding what appeared to be a Best Actress award instead of the Best Picture award.

The new chairman of the Democrat National Committee announced that since some of the movies mentioned in the show featured Russian actors, it was clear that Russia had influence on the voting for various awards, and possibly had exerted undue influence on the award for Best Picture.

DNC chairman Perez also speculated on whether the Russians had possibly done something to cause the wrong envelope to be give to Beatty as he went on stage. That speculation shortly turned to certainty as the interview progressed, without the DNC chairman receiving any more apparent information. But he stridently called for Congress to investigate what he called "...an unconscionable intrusion by foreign governments, including Russia, into our Democratic way of life as exercised in the selection of Academy Awards".

lol...There can be no doubt the entire ceremony was influenced by Russian involvement, it's just a matter of admitting that these were not covert actions by outsiders and that it is nothing new to the industry.

Sorry, but Russian involvement in various voting scenarios has been definitively declared to be from outside the country, possibly even going up to the very top, according to a variety of liberal individuals including elected Democrat officials. And with no more actual evidence than they have here. Can’t back out now.

Commie is another one of those labels you've sodomized into nothingness.

As far as the Russian ongoing investigation that seems to be moving along quite well.

I don't know why they would mess with Hollywood people. Tina Fey can see Russia from her backyard!

In other news, DNC says that if they knew the Russians were going to hack their emails they would not have written about sabotaging Bernie Sander's campaign in their emails. Meanwhile, John Podesta is overhead saying, "Hillary told me we were secure."

We were secure? You mean the guy that used P-A-S-S-W-O-R-D as his actual password was depending on Hillary for security?:badgrin::badgrin:
