From my almost Daily e-mail from BarryInc:

The election to fill the Senate seat my friend Ted Kennedy held for forty-seven years is just one day away.

And the stakes couldn't be higher. If Martha Coakley wins, she would be the 60th vote we need to pass health reform, and Ted's life's work will become law.

But what if we don't all dedicate ourselves to getting as many folks out to the polls as possible? Reform could be defeated. Her Republican opponent has committed to be the 41st vote against standing up to the big insurance companies -- and we can't let that happen.

So I need your help.

OFA has assigned you 5 voters in Massachusetts. Can you call them today?

Share their polling location with them, and, most importantly, let them know how important their vote is for Massachusetts and for the fate of President Obama's agenda.

Click here to get your list of 5 voters:
Organizing for America | Call 5 Voters

This is a tight race, and every single vote could make the difference.

Thank you for your help. Let's do this for Ted,

Senator John Kerry

:)

peace...

The second coming of Kennedy is not coming. If it is, it is not in the form of Coakley. Seems like Obama is ready to go to extreme meaures. Suppose he'll get out the shock paddles, dig him up and try a couple of times tonight?

Maybe we should all go get our "list" and call and tell them to please get out the vote for Brown. I followed the link and it gave me 5 names with numbers.

I'm sure you have just as much of a problem when Republicans dig Reagan out of the grave with every election and shameless self-advertising possibility?

I was unaware Reagan was brought up EVERY election. I think, in the present case, with Coakley it is quite a shameless appeal. Has Mr. Brown brought up Reagan? That would seem the only valid context for your comment.

They always relied on the Kennedy name to win that seat.

Now they're continuing without a Kennedy to fill it.

Using a Ghost like they used to give it to Ted before.

Mr. Brown hasn't brought up Reagan because Mr. Brown is doing his damnest to avoid being labeled as a Republican. The evidence for this is not one of his ads mention that little fact.

And you must of missed the 2008 Republican Primary at the Reagan Library when all the Republicans were falling over themselves to try and paint themselves as the next Ronald Reagan.

Do you think it is shameless of Ted Kennedy's wife to bring up Ted? Just curious.

The internet is fun:

2008 GOP Contenders Try To ‘Out-Reagan' Each Other - December 12, 2006 - The New York Sun

Transcript of GOP debate at Reagan Library - CNN.com

Reagan Would Fail "Purity Test" Proposed for GOP

With Orwellian irony, Bopp and his buddies have labeled their proposal: "Reagan's Unity Principle for Support of Candidates." The relevant portion of the resolution reads:

But no reasonable person can suggest that Ronald Reagan would have met the eight out ten test the RNC right-wingers seek to apply – especially on hot-button issues such as gun control, gay rights and immigration

Only a matter of time before they head back to the grave to dig him up again.

and yet none of marcia, er, martha coakley's ads mention she's a democrat.

go figure, huh?

You know my opinion of Coakley. And Coakley does her best to wrap herself tightly around Obama's leg.

But we know full well Del that Scott Brown is doing his best to distance himself from the GOP. And there is was an ad or two where she addressed Brown as the Republican, so she is obviously the Democrat from her ads.

an ad or two?

the joke going around is that martha changed his first name to *republican* as in republican scott brown eats dead babies and republican scott brown kicks puppies on his way to neonazi meetings.

everybody knows which party each of them is a member of- get a grip.

Mr. Brown is not runnig in the 2008 primary. Brown is treating voters as intelligent folks who know he is a Republican. It is your candidate that thinks voters aren't too smart. As far as Mrs. Kennedy goes, did they pay her? In what context did whe represent Ted? If I remember right Mr. Kennedy wanted someone else in "his" seat. So, yes she is a bit shameless.

I'm pretty sure the last thing that Vicki Kennedy needs or is doing the ads for is money.

These Dems are so deserate I bet they somehow get Teddy the Drunken Murderer to vote as a write in or an early voter!! If they could dig him up to use him somehow they would!!! Their dirty politics is finally hurting them. The people have seen what they have been doing and don't like it and not being listened to. This is just the beginning. These dirty bastard will pay in 2010 & 2012 elections!!!!! Listen to the people we don't want this healthcare bill. to much fraud, vote buying and corruption in Obama Care!!!! New kind of politician my ass!!!! same old shit no change or hope!!!!!

I don't know why I find it distasteful that anyone is sending emails out encouraging people to 'call' registered voters. For some reason I'm thinking I'd be seriously pissed if some fucker rang me to tell me how to vote.... Just sayin'.

Just call them and say Brown will make sure they get $2,000 by Christmas 2010. That is what Obama would do. Pelosi would just say, they would have to be pretty stupid to believe that when Christmas rolls around and no money shows.
