This project took awhile as the bamboo pole had to dry out. If I had to do it again...and I probably will...I'd hang the pole by the tip with a brick tied to the butt end, so it would dry a little straighter.

Instead of wrapping, I whipped the rod with waxed thread around 30 lb test mono at between 12 to 18 inch intervals.
