Divorce Rate Higher in Counties With More Conservative Protestants

Eh, given the existence of no-fault divorces and how easy it is to end a marriage, even the most holier-than-thou types know it's possible to pull the chute when one party just isn't feeling it these days. Besides, Jesus didn't say no divorces period, just that divorcing without infidelity being involved risks your ex-spouse becoming an adulterer if he or she remarries.

Jesus said divorce ONLY for adultery----which actually boils down to men can get rid of unfailthful wives

Men don't commit adultery?

There tend to be less divorces among people who don't marry.

Regardless, we all need to do much better than we are.

sorry-----I am in no mood to discuss it-----
ask your priest what the lines in the NT actually mean

how about laws restricting divorce to homosexuals ONLY? Heterosexuals should be barred from both divorce and
bankruptcy

I think you are a victim of statistics. Conservatives tend to live in more rural settings, therefore 100 divorces in a county of 10,000 is a high percentage as opposed to 10,000 in a city of two million.
