Drone found on Japanese Prime Minister s rooftop - CNN.com

A bizarre and alarming discovery is raising concerns in Japan about the potential for terrorism involving drones.

A drone carrying traces of a radioactive material was found on the rooftop of Japan's equivalent to the White House on Wednesday, police and government officials said.

The discovery came on the same day a Japanese court approved a government plan to restart two reactors at the Sendai nuclear power plant in Kagoshima prefecture, more than four years after the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's push to restart the reactors is unpopular among many Japanese, who view nuclear energy as too dangerous.

A staff member spotted the drone Wednesday morning on the roof of Abe's residence...

"Don't drone me, bro" just took on new and disturbing dimensions....

might be interesting but not very disturbing as far as I'm concerned Statist !!

All electrical appliances emit radiation. Get dosed watching tv and sitting at a home computer.

Just because something's radioactive doesn't mean it's dangerous. While all radiological exposure is cumulative, humans don't live long enough to see negative repercussions from the radiation will all get in our industrialized world.

A former soldier was arrested for the drone incident and he may have been frustrated with the Abe administration's nuclear energy policy. Prior to the incident, he drove to Fukushima to collect contaminated sand from the disaster area, which was contained in a small container attached to the drone.
