The right says that the federal government cannot do anything. We are told by the right, that the federal government cannot produce a job: only the free market can produce jobs. We are told that the federal government is an unworkable problem by the right. If the right is right, why does the right defend the federal government in the first place – as it is irrational to declare a government unworkable and at the same time fly its flag and defend it with blood and treasure?

Why not just dissolve the United States of America, and grant the fifty states full independence. If the right says it does not work, then, just dissolve the United States of America. Sure, the fifty states would not all accept being free independent countries. They have the right to join other states to forum their own countries. Then again, maybe having a number of independent countries coming out of the dissolving of the United States of America would please the left and the right.

What might be best, is to remove the American flag with fifty stars and thirteen red and white stripes and replace it with our state flag.

We should restructure the country at least All liberals on this side of the room ... All conservatives on this side of the room.

Not true. The south left the Union during 1860, and that was less than two hundred years ago. It has been debated a number of times. Like during the 1790’s, when all thirteen states were thinking about it.

With the approval rate of Congress less then ten percent, we as government have dissolved other types is government with higher approval rates. When we left the United Kingdom and became an independent country – the approval rate of being part of the United Kingdom had higher approval rates then Congress has now. We say the federal government does not work, we give it a low approval rate: then why do we still keep it as our government.

You obviously have comprehension issues....

First off no one has ever said that the Federal Government can't do anything.
2nd it is a fact that Government can not and should not produce private sector jobs. Only free markets should, can and do.
It's unworkable because our constitution is not set up for Socialism, Marxism or Communism.

My only conclusion is that you are an illegal alien, and you have never read the U.S. Constitution and the 27 amendments.

The "right" believes in LIMITED federal government control of the daily lives of all U.S. citizens, and believes that the individual states are tasked with lion's share of passing laws pertaining to their own citizens.

The "left" believes that the federal government is the "Wizard Of Oz", and should control all facets of the daily lives of U.S. citizens (and non-U.S. citizens, for that matter). Just don't look behind the curtain.

And, of course, the leftist Kool-Aid drinkers use the "all or nothing" argument, simply because it's all they have.

It is not a fact that the government cannot produce jobs, and no statement with "should" in it is ever a statement of fact.

It's unworkable because our constitution is not set up for Socialism

Setting aside the obvious fact that the government creating jobs is not "socialism," what in the constitution forbids a socialist economy?

Now you are on the right track! It will happen sooner or later. It should be sooner and controlled, rather than the way it will happen if left to dissolution's own devices.

Please speak only for yourself. Your second paragraph above shows that you would not know what "the left" believes it if shook hands with you on the street.

As for the first paragraph, I remind you, first, that the right has been more in favor than the left of a military draft and of taxing citizens to pay for a gigantic military, so your statement isn't altogether true; and second, that a state government can be at least as tyrannical as the federal one, if not more so.

He didn't say the government cannot produce jobs, he said they cannot produce private sector jobs.

heres a proposal, let California (and maybe Oregon&Wash} let the 3 western lib states sucsede from the nation, let them print out their own money, and all the liberals and union thugs can move there and leave the rest of us at peace !!!!

Which is more inline with the constitution than taxing citizens to pay for food and housing, beer and drugs for other citizens.

True, but at the state level you escape the tyranny, at the federal level you cannot.

If we start that then the next thing you know is that the counties will split off from the states and the cities will split off from the counties.

Then we'll all be speaking Spanish.
