Dirty, Dirty Solar

Both Japan and the U.S. are facing a growing problem with solar panel waste, according to National Review. While the amount of solar panel waste in Japan continues to skyrocket, there's a growing amount in America as many of its 1.4 million solar-energy installations are reaching the end of their 25-year lifespans.
Those 'Clean Energy' Solar Panels? New Study Finds They're Not So 'Clean' After All

This a really stupid article, and those that believe it are as stupid as it is. You see, the panels are gauranteed to retain 80% of their original generating capacity for 25 years. So, you are going to throw away panels that still are generating over 80% of their original rated power? Maybe you will have higher capacity panels by that time, and replace those panels with the newer ones. But there will be those quite willing to buy your old panels for pennies on the dollar and put them to use.
