Apparently the Democrats are Far Less Despised, going into year-end, than they have been all year long. The direction of the country seems to be getting back to right.

Like many ships, this turn is leisurely. Most people have not been all that much impacted by the Great Recession, post-TARP, which is at an end, and post Stimulus, which is still under way.
Anyone recalls that the stock market was not signaling that when the Democrats took over big time. The spread between wrong direction and right direction is not going wrong, but is going right--which means left.
