Dingel was caught in a false narrative that's been put out there and is a typical emotional appeal. "X number of people are DYING... blah blah blah." When the host asked what about the 50,000 more who will die between now and 2014, Dingell didn't have a pat answer.

He was TRYING to say, it takes time for the administrative and enforcement provisions to be organized and effective. Essentially, "too bad for those 50,000" so he can't really win either way, answering that.

That's the problem with their emotional appeals, their platitudes -- none of them are fact-based or logical.

But they WORK, on sheeple. So they keep using them.

So many have been duped in this country. The Socialists/Progressives are not out to help the poor. In fact they only benefit more if there are more poor. Socialists/Progressives do not want to see Americans become successful and wealthy. That doesn't benefit them in any way. They desperately need a very large poor population. Pitting the very Poor against the very Rich is the key to them holding onto power indefinitely. The Middle Class has to go. They just can't be counted on to vote for the Socialists/Progressives. A more wealthy and affluent America translates into less support for their Poor vs. Rich Socialist agenda. The Democrats understand this more than anyone does. Look for them to really work on destroying our Middle Class in coming years. It is very sad but it is what it is.
