Interesting concepts. I work with sound a lot including digital filtering. I'm wondering if the "noise" setting described here has a way to sample the ambience and subtract it, as an audio production program would do?

I'm concerned also about the resolution. I try not to use the "standard" 128 kB/s format in mp3 files, as I can still hear digital artifacts at that rate. Artifacts in a HA would bug me big time.

By the way do you have any experience with, or combating, tinnitus?

And regarding the wax buildup, have you ever had your ears "coned"?
