The right wants private industry to have influence over the central government. This would make the government weak.

The left wants the government to have control of private industry making the government powerful.

The right wants to spread personal freedom by toppling dictators and creating vibrant economies in order to trade with them.

The left wants to trade with dictators and eventually be governed by one world entity.

The right wants to eliminate poverty by growing the economy through more personal wealth and freedom.

The left wants to create more poverty so they have a reason for existing.

The right wants to defeat our enemies.

The left wants to understand our enemies.

The right is generally Christian

The left is generally atheist or agnostic...

The right gives to charity.

The left imposes charity through taxation.

The right wants...
The left wants...

Are these empty slogans teleported directly to the empty space on that thing others would call a brain?

“Before they seize power and establish a world according to their doctrines, totalitarian movements conjure up a lying world of consistency which is more adequate to the needs of the human mind than reality itself; in which, through sheer imagination, uprooted masses can feel at home and are spared the never-ending shocks which real life and real experiences deal to human beings and their expectations. The force possessed by totalitarian propaganda—before the movements have the power to drop iron curtains to prevent anyone’s disturbing, by the slightest reality, the gruesome quiet of an entirely imaginary world—lies in its ability to shut the masses off from the real world.” Hannah Arendt, “The Origins of Totalitarianism”
