One of the primary sources of many kinds of pollution in transportation are diesel engines. However, in semi trucks, they will soon be extinct;

Being silly again, are we? Renewables are replacing gas and coal plants. With grid scale storage, fossil fuel generation will be gone before 2050.

14.94%

Renewable energy accounted for 14.94% of the domestically produced electricity in 2016 in the United States. This proportion has grown from just 7.7% in 2001, although the trend is sometimes obscured by large yearly variations in hydroelectric power generation.

Old Fraud is smoking something...

Diesel trucks are the backbone of the US economy. They are not dieing any time soon. Even Telsa's new batteries can not function long enough or with certainty where diesels can.

Pure bullshit and nothing more. This guy is nothing but a friggin con man.
Until a truly viable solution to power the grid is found, electric vehicles are nothing but a fools errand and it sure as hell is neither the solar or wind hoaxes.

Urgent need to build hundreds of coal-fired electric power plants to ensure food gets delivered by those
Tesla trucks.

I've got a better idea:

Wind-up semis.

Put those on welfare to work twisting the keys

those electric vehicles are racking up a lot of miles at a lower cost and effect on the environment than you think,,,of course as a grid replacement they are a long way off, but as a supplement they are again adding up a huge benefit as well,,,in certain regions,,

Then there is the whole spontaneous combustion thing with his battery cars...my bet is that suppliers will have some qualms over their goods being towed by trucks that are as likely as not to burn them up. Then there will be the increased shipping costs which will drive up prices.

Why is it that every liberal idea ulitmately hurts the people most who can least afford to be hurt?
