If one were to stroll in the rain sans an umbrella, would that be known as ‘out of touch”? Or, perhaps entering a railroad crossing even though the gates were down and the lights flashing….out of touch? How about putting out a fire…with gasoline?

Or are these examples of a mental incapacity?

How about the following:

1. Before the 2010 mid-term elections, President Obama mused about the result of a Republican victory and control of the House. “President Obama reveals in a magazine article that he is weighing what to do if Republicans win the House majority next month, and has come up with a novel approach: Make the GOP work with him…. Accusing the public of mistaking his abilities, the president also told the magazine that he's a little taken aback that voters are disappointed with the current turn of events in his administration. “Obama: Republicans Will Have to Learn to Get Along With Me | Fox News

2. How about the unexpected victory of Scott Brown in way-Liberal Massachusetts?? “Beyond the bill, the election of a man supported by the Tea Party movement also represented an unexpected reproach by many voters to President Obama after his first year in office, and struck fear into the hearts of Democratic lawmakers, who are already worried about their prospects in the midterm elections later this year.” http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/20/us/politics/20election.html

Yet President Obama failed to recognize the significance of the election…or any respect for the wishes of the American people....

3. “For 20 seconds on Thursday, President Obama basked in applause from donors in Miami when he mocked the nationwide Tea Party rallies that caused an eruption of angst on Tax Day."I've been a little amused over the last couple of days where people have been having these rallies about taxes. You would think they would be saying thank you,"… But Tea Partiers are protesting against deficits, debt, and taxes, not to mention the tax implications of financing the mounting federal debt: $12 trillion and rising.” Obama's Mockery of Tea Party Stirs Tax Debate | Fox News

4. What kinds of clues has Obama ignored, or been oblivious to? If his own supporters have begged for exemptions from his policies, wouldn’t a sentient individual altered course? “Obamacare waivers approach 1,500 mark.” Obamacare waivers approach 1,500 mark « Hot Air

a. He couldn’t grasp how unpopular his policies were….a course comparable to that of Marie Antoinette….’Let them eat cake.’ We know how that ended.

5. “Meanwhile, on a conference call with MoveOn.org activists, the president signaled he’s looking to continue pursuing his liberal agenda, working hard to “deliver the change the American people want… why should the liberal left let something like a democratic election get in the way of their agenda?” Obama Rallies With MoveOn.org Day After Election Upsets | TheBlaze.com

6. How many of Obama’s budgets have been passed in the Democrat-controlled Senate? “There’s no better testament to how politically toxic that $6.4 trillion figure is than the fact that Senate Democrats would rather hand the GOP yet another day of “Obama shutout!” headlines than sign on to this travesty out of party loyalty. 99-0: Senate votes down Obama’s budget unanimously — again…”99-0: Senate votes down Obama’s budget unanimously — again; Update: Zero Dem votes for four GOP budgets « Hot Air

So, friends, who is going to vote for the aluminum-foil-hat President…the ‘I’m right and everyone else is crazy…..” President.

Wait….there’s the President now:
