The Model U.N. program now assigns “Toxic Charity” as a debate topic for schoolchildren. The New York Times editorial board has declared the famed Carnegie Libraries a “failure of public policy.” The “Top Big Picture Trend” of 2019, according to “Inside Philanthropy,” was today’s “Backlash Against Philanthropy.”

Yes we should have to depend on charity, apparently the rich can afford more in taxes.

Leftists need an organization for truth since they always lie.

When the Fed is pumping billions and billions into the markets there is no such thing as personal wealth.

Is enriching churches really considered philanthropy?

So if they don't give it, then you have the right to steal it?

I marvel at the arguments leftists use to justify their naked greed for other people's money.

Saying that the pumping should have never happened and should not still be happening is the very opposite of that.

You just claimed that the wealthy aren't entitled to their money, moron.

Leftists hate charity for the same reason they hate all that is good in the world. They are evil.

Did lite internet search for United Nations and Toxic Charity, nothing but the 2011 book Toxic Charity, available on Amazon. This is nothing to write home about. Never went to a church that didn't do mission work and aide to storm ravage and poverty stricken. It is not the charity that churches do that insults people. Some misguided people simply wish churches didn't exist. People that attack the super rich are doing on basis of their politics or their business practices. Kind of like Republicans attacking Democrats for breathing. It ain't that they are living. It is that they are Democrats. I never heard of the book in 2011 or it did not attract my attention. People in this country, from the rich, all the way to the poor have done charitable giving, not directed by government since before the country was a country, whether it was tax deductible or not. I like reading RealClear Politics, mostly for the polling. Their article fails to back up source for their needless worry.

Trump is the enemy of the world’s poor.

not only is he not philanthropic, but Trump has, by pushing trade policies to "help US workers, specifically manufacturing workers," risked undermining the well-being of the world’s poor because exporting manufactured goods to the United States and other wealthy countries is their path out of poverty.

The role model is China, which by exporting has largely eliminated extreme poverty and drastically reduced poverty among its population.

The ally of the downtrodden and enemy of the rich was pushing policies that would
condemn much of the world to poverty.

UN?

Fuck UN.

Not far from the United Nations headquarters, also on the New York East Side, is the Frick.

Henry Clay Frick was one of America's greatest philanthropists, donating his humble New York home to the people along with his art collection, to give the teeming masses of the East Side a chance to see quality art.

How can the UN say that philanthropy is "bad", their very headquarters sits on land which was contributed to them as a gift by the Rockefeller family, no?

They aren't entitled to the billions (trillions) the Fed has pumped.
