Did we pay $1,191,200 for 2 pounds of frozen ham?

It wouldn't surprise me. And that would be frozen ham sliced. I'd have done it for $499,754.83.

Damn.. I wonder what I could have gotten for the year old turkey I tossed out of my freezer a few weeks ago?

It may be even worse, if this means what you indicate (and it seems to), the same company got $2,531,600 for "HAM, WATER ADDED, COOKED, FROZEN, SLICED, 2-LB".

It's going to be an amazing picnic with our sliced ham... I'm sure with our now 4 pounds we'll have enough for everyone...

Don't worry, after Obama turns the water to wine and finishes dividing the five loaves of bread, he'll turn his attention to the ham...

 this has GOT to be an error
hell, you can buy some really good sliced ham for less than $8 a lb

it has to be a large quantity of 2 lb hams sliced

Man! -- that's the most blatant case of GOVERNMENT PORKBARREL SPENDING I've even seen.

Drudge picked it up and is running with it.
